YDWell, Adelaide, according to the rest of the world.  Adelaide, South Australia. Australia. Dry, dusty, hot and a long way from the rest of the world. But it’s great place to live. These are photos taken from in and around Adelaide. The title comes from the Neil Young song.

  1. Nowhere is never nowhere. Wherever Adelaide is, it fits my theory that anywhere is a good place for someone with a good eye.

    I don’t remember the artist, it might have been Michaelangelo, who quipped that he could do something artistic with anything – even a drawing of a crack in the wall. I’ve believed in that idea – and so I mean it when I say – nowhere is never nowhere.

  2. i accidentally located your wordpress through a fb catpower fan page.
    who dare not to love adelaide?! i was there nov 07 for about 3 wk! it’s the first place i landed in oz, my first impression about australia. your foto bring back so much memories.
    btw i ♥ catpower too.
