Everybody knows this is nowhere

Justin Townes Earle played a brilliant show at The Gov last night.  Stripped back to just himself and fiddle player/vocalist Josh Hedley, it was a show that moved between raw and harsh east Texas blues to beautiful laid back ballads.  The beautiful “One more night in Brooklyn” a highlight for me.  His version of Springsteen’s “Racing in the Street” during the encore was also a thing to behold.
